Preliminary Exercise 3: What is Mise en scence in film?

Mise En Scene is essentially how a scene in a film is set up. It's lighting, it's acting, it's props, etc. This makes it easier to study a film and recognize signs in the film to gain a better feel for it's meaning and purpose. This can range from the setting, lighting, makeup, set design, color, and composition. I decided to use the opening scene in Avenger's Endgame which starts out as comforting, then hits you with the shock of the family disappearing randomly. Mise En Scene is essential because it can give us a basic tone and outline for what kind of movie the movie will be somewhat easily without needing to re-watch the movie.

   Reflection:

Objective: A presentation will be created to show an example of Mise en scene in a relevant context.

I created this Mise en scene presentation to show and prove how one can dissect a scene using Mise en scene. I used a computer and as you can see I might be an intermediate, not too amazing but not bad either. I learned that Mise en scene can be used in pretty much every scene and it's not too hard to figure out it's meaning.
